The wagons carried all their earthly possessions. History records the hardships that these early people had on their trek west; Caravans of Donner, Fremont, Stevens - Murphy part. The Jayhawkers led by Monte and the Mormons that came form Salt Lake City to lay out the city of San Bernardino, California in June of 1851.
