Notes: Original image is 14.8 MB. Also see John Signor's 1985 book, Donner Pass, p. 28, who discusses the former 16 stall roundhouse, burned in the 1869 fire and replaced in 1875 by this roundhouse. Note roof over turntable as well and roundhouse.
