Notes: Original photo is 14.6 MB; caption under image - Party Time ... Michael Cummesky of San Rafael went to work for the PG&E Company in 1921. The next year he made a trip to Truckee fore 3 days. The Pacific Employees Association arranged a snow play party and Pullman cars served as hotel accommodations on the tracks for the 75-100 revelers. This photograph of a horse-drawn sleigh in downtown Truckee shows a group ready to ride to the Donner State Park monument. Cummesky, who retired as a PG&E field rep in 1964 after 43 years of service, is on the left in the photo. Photo courtesy of Mr. Cummesky, maternal grandfather of Diane Brunson of Truckee.
