Old Gasoline Station Pump

image not foundDescription: It is an old gasoline station pump. The operator would hand pump fuel to raise the fluid to the number (shown as a vertical panel of numbers between the two right steel support tubes in the photo) which indicates the number of gallons in the glass chamber. Stop pumping when the desired gallons are achieved. Then open a valve to let the gasoline drain by gravity into a hose to deliver the fuel to the vehicle or fuel can. (Courtesy of RF 20210216)
