image not foundDescription: Toboggan slide first Ice Palace; note men standing at top of toboggan slide. The Toboggan slide was affixed to the Ice Palace's exterior. The entire structure was built on the town's plaza enabling long-skirted ladies of the 1890s to easily walk to the skating rink from hotels or the excursion Pullman railroad train cars.
