image not foundDescription: Toboggan slide at first Ice Palace. The Toboggan slide was affixed to the Ice Palace's exterior. The entire structure was built on the town's plaza enabling long-skirted ladies of the 1890s could easily walk to the skating rink from hotels or the excursion Pullman railroad train cars.
